Terms of Service
These terms govern use of LeadCognition, including the web app, MCP server, REST API, ChatGPT/Claude connector access, Clay workflows, webhook delivery, and related documentation.
Using LeadCognition
LeadCognition provides GitHub signal intelligence for go-to-market, research, and workflow automation. You are responsible for the repositories, domains, exports, webhooks, prompts, and integrations you configure.
Accounts and Security
- You must keep account credentials, API keys, OAuth tokens, and webhook secrets secure.
- You may not share API keys publicly or use another organization's key without permission.
- LeadCognition may suspend or throttle access to protect the service, customers, third parties, or data sources.
MCP, API, and Integrations
- API and MCP access is scoped by organization and by permissions such as `mcp:read` and `mcp:export`.
- You are responsible for external destinations you configure, including Clay, webhook.site, CRM systems, and custom webhook endpoints.
- Write or external-delivery actions should be used only when you intend to send data outside LeadCognition.
- You may not attempt to bypass rate limits, scopes, billing checks, or tenant boundaries.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use LeadCognition to harass, spam, deceive, scrape in violation of third-party terms, or conduct unlawful outreach.
- Do not use the service to infer sensitive attributes or make decisions prohibited by applicable law.
- Do not upload, request, or distribute secrets, malware, illegal content, or data you do not have rights to use.
- Comply with email, privacy, anti-spam, employment, and data-protection laws that apply to your use case.
Public Data and Enrichment
LeadCognition works with public GitHub activity and business contact enrichment. Public availability does not remove your responsibility to use results lawfully, respect opt-outs, and avoid inappropriate outreach.
Plans, Credits, and Billing
Some features may require credits, paid plans, or export scopes. Credit costs, quotas, and plan limits may change as the product evolves. If a feature displays a cost or confirmation step, you are responsible for reviewing it before proceeding.
Availability and Accuracy
LeadCognition may be unavailable or inaccurate at times. GitHub events, enrichment providers, AI summaries, scoring, and third-party integrations can be incomplete or stale. You should review important outputs before relying on them for business decisions.
Intellectual Property
LeadCognition and its software, design, docs, and service infrastructure remain owned by LeadCognition or its licensors. You retain rights to your own customer data, subject to the rights needed for LeadCognition to operate the service.
Termination
You may stop using LeadCognition at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, non-payment, security risk, legal risk, or violation of these terms.
